Ghumiye Gechhe Shranto Hoye

Sleeping there after a hectic day
Songbird of my heart

Only ones tenderly looking at him
Are the desiccated flowers under the fleeting daylight

After the merriment of singing and blooming flower
Not know when some cruel hunter silenced him

In the lap of forest look he is weeping in his sleep
Under the shadow of ruffled hair of a dusky grieving girl

From now on this forest will never blossom again like before
His sobbing will murmur through the leaves of this forest

The songbird has left its home forever
Leaving this grim hush for me
Chocking my joyous voice, robbing my words
My melody will never come rushing in this livid dreary day

Sleeping there after a hectic day
Songbird of my heart.
